2 avocadoes; juice of half a lime; 1-2 cloves garlic; 1 fresh chilli pepper; a bunch of coriander; a pinch of cumin; salt
Peel the avocado and cut it in half lengthways. Squash the half containing the stone a little and remove it. Remove the flesh with a spoon and mash it with a fork. Squeeze in the lime juice and mix. Grind the cumin and some salt with a pestle and mortar, add the peeled garlic clove and chilli pepper. Grind them together. Mix with the avocado puree and finely chopped coriander. Serve the sauce immediately with fish, meat, tortilla chips or as a spread with tortillas.
