250 g cottage cheese; 1 egg; 2-4 tbsp flour; 50 g butter; 1-2 tbsp sugar; 1 tsp salt
Lazy dumplings Galushki (Halušky)
Mix the eggs with the salt, sugar, melted butter and mashed cottage cheese. Mix it well into a smooth paste and gradually add the flour. Divide the mixture into 2 and roll them into sausages on a table dusted with flour. Cut the sausages in 1.5cm pieces and coat them with flour. Boil them in salted water until they float to the surface and remove them with a slotted spoon. Spoon over some melted butter and serve them with sour cream or honey.
