2 cod fillets; 1 egg; 1 cup of flour; 1 cup of breadcrumbs; 2 cups of canola oil; 1 tsp. of paprika; a pinch of thyme; a bunch of parsley; salt and black pepper
Homemade Fish Fingers
Mix breadcrumbs with finely chopped parsley, salt and pepper, add paprika and thyme. Cut fillet into strips 1” wide and 3” long (8-10 cm). Cover fish strips with flour, submerge in beaten egg and breadcrumbs, let them dry a little. Deep-fry at 350°F (180°C) until golden brown. Transfer to a paper towel to drain excess fat. Serve with lemon, ketchup or tartar sauce.
